My top 3 contenders for this season:

The Miami got the big 3 and they were the instant favorite to win it all, lebron, wade and bosh sure looks good in papers but as far as things are going, they haven't lived up to the expectation. They win games but you cannot say that its convincing enough that they are dominating their games.

The Lakers meanwhile added 4 veterans to upgrade their wing defense and a ball handler that will back up fish. These was a great addition as they will once again dominate again the western conference with the real King Kobe Bryant leading them. 3peat is just around the corner for the LA Lakers!

The Celtics added 2 Oneal's and they just got better especially in the frontline. The Heat and Magic will have a hard time competing in the playoffs.

2012: Not just a movie

2012.. Is this really the end of all things? Is this the generation were' everything changes? what about the earlier predictions that failed? Is 2012 the truth? Is 2012 the end? Last year I was really fond of researching for this type of topics, on how the world will end and I found this movie that is still in the making on that time.

2012. It was really interesting because the preview trailer itself exemplifies how will the world end..Its a gigantic flood flowing over the Mt. Everest and from there, you'll be scared and think.what if that happens in reality..

Its the highest mountain around the world yet it was reached by this enormous flood flowing vastly.. Its something you would probably imagine right now. We are dead gone if that happens. Since I saw that clip, I never stop researching for more informations and updates about this movie. I was patiently waiting until this month came. I was so excited to watch not just a movie but to witness destruction that has an absolute possibility of becoming a reality. After all, you have nothing to lose in watching this kind of movie but you probably will gain awareness.

As we are about to get tickets, we were surprised on the crowded lounge as everyone wants to grab a ticket. There are 3 cinemas for 2012 but 2 of those were already sold out. We were forced to get the vip tickets. I guess people are really interested on how will the world end.

The destructions in the movie were purely based from natural catastrophies like earthquake, volcanic eruptions and the gigantic tsunamis. It was a chain reaction. The government only foresee these calamities but it was never aired in national televisions so people would be aware. Once it happened, it was the only time they broadcast what was really happening and people didn't have the chance to prepare for it.

Awareness saves lives but ignorance excuses no one. This movie sends a message to all. The world is not getting better and if we don't act right, preparations is our only option.

My Ketsana Experience

Had a vacation last week @ manila to visit my family and to meet up the yearly vacation of our father from Nigeria..talk things out and our first meet up in nearly 3 years.. He's working there as an aircraft mechanic for almost 3 decades. Since I graduated there in 2007 I never had the chance to get back in Parañaque, I missed the people there my friends, schoolmates and relatives..the environment and the memories.. Was so excited coming back there. I had a great time with my relatives and friends there, it felt like I was gone for 10 years there, new things happened and some friends left, some stayed.. I also had a great time with my family she and kids Jameeka and Trevor. They have grown bigger since they left Davao last August.

As Saturday is approaching Sept 26, friends and cousins were planning to have a great night out.. All was set until Friday night when the heavy rain poured all over Metro Manila and was well aware that a typhoon is visiting the shores of the country. We didn't expect too much attention that night but when we woke up Saturday morning It continued to rain, actually it never stopped since Friday night and this time the rain is causing too much discomfort and after hours of non stop rain, it resulted to floods around the place. The house there never experienced flood inside but this time it went through and in a matter of minutes the first floor got flood out, since it has a 2nd storey, we had the chance to save all the electronic appliances from the 1st floor before it the 1st floor washed out..but on my relatives place, the story was different.. Floods used to flow there everytime a hard rain occurs but the worst did come on that day because no electronic appliances were saved as the whole house was drown by the flood, doors and windows broke and all the things from the clothes and pictures sank out in the flood. Lolo and lola and my couzin renz tried to save stuffs but the water was raging so fast that they didn't had the chance to brought anything except their own. Cars around the neighborhood also drowned and my auntie cried out in tears as her brand new car also drowned from the monster flood. Our place was just beside the NAIA and it was the first time it flooded that high as reaching the tip of the roof. I went there sunday and the whole place is messed up, the water's gone but it left a devastating outcome.. people were all busy fixing their house, the appliances and all stuffs, washing clothes and after a day or two everything was almost clean and fixed. Its a experience that our place will never forget. I was there when typhoon Milenio came and it wiped out metro manila through its raging wind but typhoon Ondoy has its own weapon of destruction and it is through water.

The most underrated free agent of the year Allen Iverson finally accepts the offer to play for one more year in Memphis Grizzlies. The 1st overall pick of the 1996 draft gets a deal after months of awaiting. I thought this deal is a steal for the grizzlies organization as Iverson still has the capability to handle a team and score relentlessly in the hard court. After his destructive year in the detroit pistons, he had received just negative comments from his critics saying that he has lost a step in playing the game but I myself still believe that the Answer can prove them wrong. Iverson can still compete at a high level and can still lead the NBA in scoring. he just need more playing time and trust from his team. With a young and allstar potential team mates like Rudy Gay, Oj Mayo and Marc Gasol, A.I. can lead them and have a great year.

Its been a great season in the NBA. A successful campaign especially for the 2008-09 world champions Los Angeles Lakers led of course by the the best player on the planet Kobe Bryant. You can argue with that. Everyone expected them to bounce back from their heartbreak loss in the finals last season from the Boston Celtics. led by las year defensive player awardee, Kevin Garnett. But it was a sorry season for the celtics this season as they were dethroned by the surprising uprise of the Orlando Magic. They eliminated the celtics on their 2nd round playoff match up. As KG was sidelined with the knee injury, the celtics didnt make it with only 2 superstars playing. But I think the greatest upset this year was the Cleveland Cavaliers who is led by the MVP Lebron James that clinched the best record in the NBA this season. Everyone thought that this is the kings year, not just by winning the MVP award but to go all the way and win his 1st NBA championship and an anticipating matchup with kobe in the finals. But poor lebron was upset by the Orlando Magic, they were easily eliminated by the Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference finals. Led by the defensive player of the year The Superman Dwight Howard. Eastern conference was a bit surprising but the western conference was all dominated by the Lakers. This was also a season of blockbuster trades with Iverson traded to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Billups. Iverson though didn't had the best time in Detroit as his role was cut and it was all frustration for the 2000 MVP, as for Billups. He was the nuggets missing piece as they advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs in almost a decade and had the chance to enter the NBA finals against kobe and the lakers. The Rockets also had its chance and for the first time in 5 straight seasons, they advanced to the 2nd round with their aqcuisition of Ron Artest but fell short in the 2nd round with Yao Ming sidelined after Game 3 because of broken foot. Tracy Mcgrady was out of the picture as the 2 time scoring champion was also sidelined with knee problems but it was a successful season for them. If they get healthy next season, with their own version of the big three, this team is a team to watch. The Utah Jazz, Spurs and Mavericks had its chance but came up short in their playoff run. Its going to be an exciting season next year and everyone should have the chance to win the title. It was a great year.

Heartbreak Loss

Last night before I slept, I set my alarm at 7am to catch up the game7 of the boston celtics and the orlando magic. I was really excited about the game and at the same time scared for the celtics. As a celtics fan I was expecting them to win it and advance to the next round. Even without Kevin Garnett(sidelined of knee problems}, this team really fought hard every game until this point of time. When I woke up this morning things didn't really happen as planned, my phone didn't alarm and I almost miss the game. I turned on the tv and then its the end of the 3rd quarter with rondo hitting the 3point shot at the buzzer and cutting down the magic lead to within 5. I felt alarmed with the score as the celtics are trailing, its not really comforting to see when your team trails specially on a do-or-die game. When 4th quarter is about to start, i have high hopes that the celtics would probably make a run or even make the game closer and tighter. But things haven't happened as I was hoping. The magic had a great great start. Executing plays and hitting almost everywhere in the floor and defended the celtics very well, they won the first 7 minutes of the quarter just enough to make a commanding lead and made the crowd silent in boston.. I felt very disappointed and it really felt that its crushing my heart watching the boston celtics fall down just like that and never had the chance to show some pride on their game. It hurts me as a fan and I don't really want to believe that moment was happening. They were the world champs last season but their run for the back to back champions ended really disastrous. Everyone expected them to be atleast on the finals but they failed. As a fan it was really a sad moment. But looking on the otherside, I have to think positive and build a new hope for next season. I'm sure they'll bounce back from this devastating loss and improved in every aspect of their game plus kevin Garnett will surely be back healthier than ever. I think without KG this team won't reach that far. he's the heart and soul of this team and I do believe, next season should be a great run for the ring with him on the line up. Good luck c's next season!

If you’re talking about basketball assassins, you’re talking about Kobe Bryant. No player is more feared. Poll NBA players about whom they least like to guard, and most of them will probably say Kobe.

Which player is deadliest with the game on the line? Kobe. He not only lives to win, he enjoys demoralizing opponents. That edge is what separates him from LeBron and D-Wade. He’s the guy who kicked sand on your face at the beach.

Kobe almost has a Jordan-like aura among NBA players, and for good reason. He has more offensive skill then anyone in basketball. If Jordan is No. 1, Kobe is 1A. He isn’t Jordan to my generation, but Kobe is tops to the now generation. Believe that.

Kobe actually has more offensive moves than Jordan and shoots the 3-pointer slightly better. And who scored 81 points in a game? Not MJ.

Two wins out of 15 games is really a disappointing outcome but beyond this result is a team that discovered new things about the game of basketball. Its about the challenged that we fought through, the courage of facing the fear, and to handle the pressure as a team. We have different skills, strengths and weakness on the hardcourt that made us more confused in the early part of the event but we had pass through this test. Everyone knows what each one of us is capable of and the expectation of surpassing the potential of every player. Behind this improvement is the hunger and cravings of winning games. The urge and determination of playing hard every game is there, its just that the winning attitude is lacking. We played just to compete instead of play the game to win it. Its not a natural asset but its a category that we will surely learn. And as people say, learn from your mistakes and take a big step out from it. I just think that the mistake we had is enough, its time for us to take that very big step forward and make great things. Its going to be hard but being together, we can. I can't really measure my passion about basketball but it surely is high. I love this game that it came to the point that losing a game is a big disappointment and winning is a big celebration. I can say that this team is part of what I am today. I can foresee great things will happen. The future of this team depends on every single member of this team and it holds everything from losing games to winning games. Tomorrow is a different story, tomorrow SPYWARE will reign!

The Philippine basketball team is on the move for another attempt to enter the Olympics in London 2012. With the PBA already choosing Yeng Guiao as the new coach to lead the team, a great motivator and will surely make his players improve on every aspect of the court, the Philiipine team has a huge chance. Their first stop is the Southeast Asian Basketball (SEABA) Championship in May 2009 and afterwards, the August FIBA-Asia Championship in Guangzhou, China.
The latter is the qualifier for the 2010 World Championship in Istanbul, Turkey, which is the ultimate goal.
Its going to be a rough road ahead of the team. "Realistic but difficult" as Guiao expressed.

Allen Iverson the 2001 NBA mvp awardee and former sixers that was dealt to nuggets a few years back to help the denver nuggets surpass its 1st round playoff struggle ended yesterday as “The Answer” was traded to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Chauncey Billups and Antonio Mcdyess. This was a shocking trade scenario as no one ever expected this and there were no rumors roaming around before this trade. I was really shocked then, it was like the biggest scoop that every sports reporters can get. This move will eventually improve both teams especially the nuggets as they were searching for a legit all star point guard (billups) that can really delivered the goods to carmelo, jr smith and company. Iverson was never a point guard but he helped the nuggets in scoring and claim a playoff berth last season. In contrary, the Detroit Pistons will surely be a contender once again in the addition of Iverson. His scoring presence along with Prince and Hamilton will be a dynamic force in offense. This was the first blockbuster trade this season and I expect more of this on the upcoming months. Iverson will play his first game as a pistons on thursday Nov 5 against the undefeated Toronto Raptors.

This event eventually changed my perception in life and I consider this as a moment of awakening for me. Living in the presence of God was as hard as I ever could imagine until this event came. I would never replace any great experience like this one. Well, you might be curious on the things that I am sharing with so let's get started and discover what "Encounter God Weekend" is all about...

These are weekend retreats, usually set away from the city in a conference centre. Encounters generally last three days where there is basic Christian teaching on holiness, prayer, fellowship with God, forgiving, tithing, speaking life, walking in the Spirit, demonic liberation (which is also called casting out the enemy or deliverance), healing the sick, winning souls for Christ, having patience and bearing fruit. One of the main points for these "encounters" is for the believer to have a genuine repentance and revelation of what the cross is all about. Also in these encounters there is extensive prayer and use of common symbolic acts to define the end of the old and beginning of the new.

Laying aside the old self-rejecting old ways of thinking, acting, feeling,. Renewing believer's mind with God's truth-understanding the truth of what Christ has accomplished for them and that that gives them a new capacity to live for Him. Putting on the new self-in thought, words, actions, values, and relationships. The main purpose of these encounters is for the believer to have an actual encounter with God face to face. For him or her to give themselves completely to God, the result: to have a Christ-centered self-confidence, Joy, Courage, Peace, and a desire to know Christ.

The next encounter will be on December 26,27 and 28 and will be conducted by the "Christ the healer" church located at the 4th floor of Madayaw Inn, Trading blvd. Feel free to leave a message for some questions regarding this event.

Well, its thursday and nothing’s much going on today. Everything’s on the normal routine, doing my regular tasks and thinking what to do for tomorrow. A bit excited also because tomorrow’s friday, last day of work and thinking of something on where to spend our night time. When I was about to make my report for today, I had this SHOCKING message from my one of our superiors. I was somehow thinking about this thing since I had my client interview yesterday but I never expected that this would come so fast! I don’t know if I’m excited or surprised or amazed on something like this but I know, I got nervous when I read this message but also flattered at the same time. Flattered because after only a brief interview by the client, they immediately gave me an opportunity. Nervous, because of this one heck of a reason:

The NBA hadn’t played a game outdoors since 1972, and there’s probably a good reason why league officials waited 36 years to stage another.

The Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, CA, usually a setting that displays riveting rallies, backhands and overhead smashes, played host to the first outdoor basketball game in the NBA’s modern era Saturday night.

However, instead of the contest being about the beauty of a hardwood game being played underneath the desert stars, the affair came down to an element not often seen in the box score… the weather. The event, which was known as the AutoTrader.com Open, saw the Denver Nuggets outlast the Phoenix Suns, 77-72, in a game that saw Mother Nature become the sixth man.

“I don’t think anyone expected it to be this cold here,” point guard Steve Nash said. “It felt like Edmonton, Alberta, not Palm Springs.”

The temperature during the fourth quarter registered at around 65 degrees. While that is a little brisk for basketball players, the main dilemma lied in the players shuttling in and out of the game.

The newest member of the Boston Celtics, Darius Miles, is attempting to return to the NBA after a two-year absence, almost two years after a microfracture procedure on his injured right knee and after a doctor declared the injury to be career-ending. If Miles is successful to any measurable degree, and that is still up in the air, he will create some financial havoc in Portland, his previous NBA stop, not to mention extract some $18 million out of Trail Blazer owner Paul Allen’s petty cash drawer.

No player has done what the 26-year-old Miles is attempting to do. The Trail Blazers waived him last April 14 after the diagnosis from an independent doctor deemed his knee injury to be such that his career was over. That’s usually a death sentence. But Miles didn’t buy it then and he certainly doesn’t buy it now. Neither do the Celtics or their medical people.

“I have a son,’’ he went on, referring to his 8-month old. “I want him to see me play. So I wanted another try. If I put it all out there and it doesn’t work, then I’ll have done all I can.”

The Celtics are investing very little in Miles – a non-guaranteed veteran minimum – for a couple reasons: they don’t have to (Miles is still collecting his $9 million-per-year salary bestowed on him by the Blazers, although insurance covers as much as 85 percent of it); and basketball boss Danny Ainge says the low risk-high reward nature of the deal is a no-brainer.

“Coming into this gym is like walking into history,’’ he continued. “As soon as you come here, you feel it. You see these old-school pictures of Red Auerbach and Bill Russell. And it’s the only practice facility I’ve seen that has (championship) banners. I want to be whatever they want me to be. I want to be a part of this team. This is the ultimate situation. I would have played on this team whether I got a check or not.”

“That team (Portland) wanted to move on, away from me, and once that happened, I understood and let it be. That whole situation was a negative situation and I went through it for four years. It’s tiring. I want to hear some positive stuff. I don’t ever remember a bad article being written about me until I got to Portland. I’m not saying it’s a bad place. It’s a great organization. I love (owner) Paul Allen. Larry Miller, the president, a great guy. The players are great. It just didn’t work out. One little thing turned into a big thing. They didn’t want me. Day 3 of the the 4 team league held at Rivera Village last Saturday was one heck of an event. We the Spyware team hadn't won any game yet in 2 games.

Desperately needing one, we were so focused to win the game. We had planned all the possible ways to win the game and also the rotation of the players was deeply studied. And so, we were scheduled to meet up against the Trojans which is lead by sir ariel (tech admin of night shift), he created a new team composed of players from other company.

With their win loss record of 1-1, they surely bring on the best of what they have contrary to us 0-2 should bring not just the best but to focused on winning. As the game is about to start, we notice that sir allan, jayson and adriel were not around..Its a good thing we had added a defensive player as he said, dennis "the menace". Wearing jersey # 5, he came up huge for us.

At the end of the 1st half, the game was so tight and finished tied in scoring entering the 3rd quarter. At the half, every one was celebrating even though the scored was tied. Why? "wLa mi nabayaan sa score kay katong first 2 games, sa 2nd quarter mi mabyaan pirminti hehe!" It felt like we are already winning the game hahaha! Every one was so pumped up after the 1st half, we really had a great 1st half and we took that situation as an advantage entering the 2nd half. the 3rd quarter was really a different story! I just though that was the best 3rd quarter of my life! We came up blazing in the 3rd as our shooting was flawless! Defense was so intense and we forced a lot of turnovers to the opponent! Steals, blocks... It was one of the greatest moment of the game as we left them with a large margin, I think it was a 16 point lead at one time. We really controlled the 3rd quarter.

Celebration was always a step ahead of us during that time. And then came the final quarter, plan was to use the time and waste it as we can so the opponent will not have a chance to get any closer. The plan was executed very well not until the final 3 minutes of the game, the Trojans started to press (full court) and we lost the ball many times, it was so frustrating because we really had a hard time crossing the ball to the half court line and little by little the lead was trimmed down. The fear to loss another game came up to my mind and I know, if we let this game slipped in our hands, the 3rd quarter would come up useless. it was nearly a blink of an eye as our 16 point lead was cut to only a point with 1min and 30 something seconds left in the game. We had another turnover and by that time, they took advantage and scored another and a foul. It hurts as they finally lead and still have a bonus free throw with 50 sec remaining. It was so disappointing and then we called a timeout after the play and coach don said to us, "calm down, ayaw'g karatol! 2 points lng yan"

Having the posession, I was instruct to get the ball and go all the way to the basket but the plan failed, I just thought the defense already know that I will get the ball, they covered me a lot, I haven't had the chance so my teamates forced to shoot but it was missed. Hopeless at that time with 40 sec left, we intentionally fouled them to stop the time. We are at the penalty situation so opponent will take freethrows, fortunately only one free throw was so converted so they only have a 3 point lead at that time..

ken rebounded the ball and pass it directly to me, I took it coast to coast to the basket but I was fouled with 30 sec remaining. I made the 1st but I missed the 2nd. So their lead is now 2 points. They gained possesion and surprisingly they lost the ball, ken grab the ball and called another timeout! wheewww! With under 10 sec left in the game we have a chance to tie the game or win it with a three points. Plan was designed to me, get the ball and take it all the way to the basket. Under pressure, don inbounded the ball, I was again covered and didn't had the chance to recieve any pass. He passed it to denz then dribbled a couple of times then passed it back to don and from there he went straight to the basket as the defense focused to him, I think 4 players tried to stop him but he missed!

Not knowing what will happen..I went to the paint for a possible rebound...Luckily, I was fortunate enough for a foot back and tied the game! and send the game to Overtime! Thrilling as you can ever Imagine! whooowwww...!! Then came overtime, tired and exhausted we have to finish the game whatever happens.

The third was more like the 3rd quarter, we-controlled-the-overtime! shooting relentlessly in the floor and the gatorade turning point by mr. bakeruddin damada, his 3 points with a man on his face gave us the secured lead and helped sealed the win. The crowd went crazy after his shot and I thought, "thats it!" we won!! With a commanding lead with sec to play, our bench was celebrating and as the time expires, we claimed glory!

Exaggerated to say but I had been to a lot of basketball games but I thought this was the sweetest game of my life! kuddos to keneth, Im my point of view..he was the player of the game here..his Inside presence was there, grabbing tons of rebound and defensive plays. Key players were kurt, denz ruiz and john, they gave the backcourt plays more exciting and the hustle plays they'd showed proved that we are determined to take this game.

Special mention to dennis casa, w/out his intense defense and 2 points, I think it would be a different story. Overall,the teamwork and "HARDWORK" of the players prevailed. Congratulations Spyware! hehehe! Murag mag ni-champion!

Not easily. In his prime Jordan's lateral movement was much better than Kobe's is now. Consider also that Jordan often shut down the other team's top scorer. Kobe doesn't often draw that assignment, and especially not against a Michael Jordan.

Perfectly named as they were, the 2008 USA basketball team composed of NBA superstars featuring Kobe and Lebron reclaimed the gold since 2000 Olympics as they fought and brought their A game to beat the Spaniards in the gold medal match in the last day of the Beijing Olympics. At last, they had proven their worth and defeated criticism, doubting that even though their roster has all the best talent in the world, their team play has questioned by many. But they overcome this obstacles and proved that they can play like a team and resulted in an 8-0 win loss record and on the way to clinched the gold medal. Beating every team they faced, it was domination as no team didn't had a chance to get close. Kobe said in an interview that their focus is to win the gold and players are willing to sacrifice everything to reclaimed the glory that was lost in the 2004 Athens Olympics as the USA finished for bronze. Kobe also said that teams like Argentina and Spain and other International team has gotten close to the style of play they had on the NBA and alarmed that in any given night, disaster can happen if they don't give their best. The focus and determination has helped them to win the gold and through team work, they had achieved the greatest goal of the team. TO REDEEM WHAT IS LOST! Congratulations!

The Moda Mindanaw, a fashion and floral design, a part of the kadayawan event held at Gaisano Mall of Davao yesterday, we were at the front seats as we gave support to my younger brother as he was one of the models participating in the event. The Metropolitan Modeling Agency that is based in davao gave my brother a shot of fame as he had his first ramp modeling courtesy of the event and the gaisano mall of davao. There was a lot of crowds that we didnt expected as the show is about to start the models started to arrive, the girls where to much for my eye s as they look flawlessly beautiful and they are really tall, and there we saw francis passed just right behind us and mom was one of the proud parents that hugged francis and wish him goodluck. I felt excited and nervous for francis, I know he has the confidence but he texted us earlier and ask where were we, I just thought he kinda felt nervous to as he would ramp for the first time in his life. After an hour of waiting, The show begun. The first concept was the bridal outfit there we saw francis enter the stage and does his stuff out there, walking very very confident. We couldn't even believe what our eyes saw. Is this real? hehe I was so proud of my younger brother as he has somehow started a career of what I had dreamed before. hAHA! kaya nga dream eh, out of reach! hehe.. The best thing about this is he made my mother very proud of him. The second concept was I think the best of Gaisano Mall clothing. The best outfit available were too much too handle on the eyes especially the girls, I just wish you were there hehe! Well, the event lasted for 2 hours and I just thought that was the most entertaining event I had witnessed. As for francis, I wish him goodluck in his modeling career and take this first step for future success. A blessing from up above that he would never forget. Rock on or should i say, Ramp ON!

Oh not again! This issues again?? When will I stop posting end times topics huh! Well, the illustration above would probably answer.. As we can see in the Illustrations, it talks about the 7 years of tribulation.It is defined as the last 7 years of humanity before the so-called 2ND coming of Christ, few will believe this but many wouldn't. We can't tell if the great tribulation will happen in our time but as many had prophesied , it is near.. So to understand the illustrations above, it goes something like this.. The 2ND coming of Jesus is not as easy as we thought, before he goes back, the anti Christ will reign in the earth for 7 years, it is considered that the anti Christ are the elect leaders of nations around the world..yeah it could possibly who you think but lets keep things safe here in my post. This leaders will unite and will create peace and prosperity in the world and people will be deceived of the things that will happen not knowing that the anti Christ will soon arise. And in the blink of an eye, the leaders will present the new God, that this God is the reason why the world is at peace and prosperity and they will force the people to worship this god and take his mark as a sign of faith in him. Thinking if you were in this situation, would you take his mark? well if you refused, you'll either be captive or beheaded because he is the law that people must obey. And the whole world will be in control of the Anti Christ. This happenings will occur on the 1st 3 1/2 years of the period as you can see above, it was divided to two..the last 31/2 years will be the turn of god as he will punish, destroy,dismantle, create havoc in the world.. The storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and meteors showers will take place and people will not die of this nature disasters, they will suffer and there will be the gnashing of teeth as if it is in hell, and they will beg to die but they wouldn't for they have to face the consequences of worshiping the Evil. 3 1/2 years of agony and persecutions will happen and at the end of this period everything and everyone will die and as written in the bible, the human blood will rise up to 5ft from the surface of the earth! And so, the evil things around the world will be cleansed and right after this is the 1000 years millenium reign of Jesus Christ as he goes back with the people whom he had saved before the beginning of the great tribulation. The whole world will be filled with righteousness and I can't even imagine what the world would look like, it would probably look like the paradise and the perfect place to be..Well, I wish we could be there and our love one's. Well, for me Worshiping the real God will be the key..I hope.

Childress was one of the big factors that gave the Celtics a hard time in the 1st round series that last for 7games. It was an effort that every coach in the NBA coach would not regret. God’s love is radically different from ours in that it is not based upon attraction or performance. It is totally sacrificial and unselfish. Jesus compared God’s love with the love of a perfect father. A good father wants the best for his children, sacrifices for them, and provides for them. But in their best interests, he also disciplines them.
Jesus illustrates God’s heart of love with a story about a rebellious son who rejected his father’s advice about life and what is important. Arrogant and self-willed, the son wanted to quit working and “live it up.” Rather than waiting until his father was ready to give him his inheritance, he began insisting that his father give it to him early.
In Jesus’ story, the father granted his son’s request. But things went bad for the son. After squandering his money on self-indulgence, the rebellious son had to go to work on a pig farm. Soon he was so hungry even the pig food looked good. Despondent and not sure his father would accept him back, he packed his bag and headed home.
Jesus tells us that not only did his father welcome him home, but he actually ran out to meet him. And then the father went totally radical with his love and threw a huge party celebrating his son’s return.
It is interesting that even though the father greatly loved his son, he didn’t chase after him. He let the son he loved feel pain and suffer the consequences of his rebellious choice. In a similar way, the Scriptures teach that God’s love will never compromise what is best for us. It will allow us to suffer the consequences of our own wrong choices.
Jesus also taught that God will never compromise His character. Character is who we are down deep. It is our essence from which all ourthoughts and actions stem. So what is God like—down deep?

A trip back to Boston was just about all the Celtics needed to claim their 17th NBA Championship in franchise history. In front of an electric home crowd, Kevin Garnett exploded for 26 points and 14 rebounds as the Celtics dismantled the Lakers in Game 6, 131-92, on Tuesday. The Celtics captured the NBA Championship in record fashion. Boston's 39-point win is the most lopsided close-out triumph in Finals history, eclipsing the mark it set in 1965 also against the Lakers. Ray Allen also hit seven treys to set a new mark for most 3-pointers in a Finals series (22) and the Celtics' 18 steals were the most in a Finals contest. Finals MVP Paul Pierce scored 17 and Rajon Rondo filled up the stat sheet with 21 points, seven rebounds, eight assists and six steals as Boston captured its first title since 1986.

My most awaited moment that happened yesterday. She and Jameeka came back just last night, they arrived at 8pm.. An hour before I had high hopes of rejoining them again, its been 3 months and 2 days that were apart. It was hard during that time, the longest 3months that I had and the loneliest that i've felt.. I missed She and most specially jameeka, I can't wait to watch her walk for the first time and what she would look like after 3 months. From trading, I took a cab and arrived just in time. I waited for about 30 mins and then they went out of the airport, I immediately waved then as they were walking towards me I felt really excited and Overwhelmed, This was it, I have been longing for this moment since the day they left and Immediately I hug both of them tightly as I can and kissed them. Jameeka really stared at me as she was wondering who am I and suddenly she had this smile that I would never forget, I just thought it was the smile of a daughter looking at his father that has been gone for quite a while. Thanking God for this day was the first thing that came up on my mind. My wife told me that she saw Mayor Duterte on the plane, just as I thought, it was the safest flight going back here in davao.

Q: How much sleep is ideal?

A: Studies show that people who sleep between 6.5 hours and 7.5 hours a night, as they report, live the longest. And people who sleep 8 hours or more, or less than 6.5 hours, they don't live quite as long. There is just as much risk associated with sleeping too long as with sleeping too short. The big surprise is that long sleep seems to start at 8 hours. Sleeping 8.5 hours might really be a little worse than sleeping five.

Morbidity, [or sickness,] is also "U-shaped," in the sense that both very short sleep and very long sleep are associated with many illnesses - with depression, with obesity, and therefore with heart disease and so forth. But the [ideal amount of sleep] for different health measures isn't all in the same place. Most of the "low points" are at seven or eight hours, but there are some at six and some even at nine. I think diabetes is lowest in seven-hour sleepers, [for example]. But these measures aren't as clear as the mortality data.

I think we can speculate [about why people who sleep 6.5 to 7.5 hours live longer], but we have to admit that we don't really understand the reasons. We don't really know yet what is cause and what is effect. So we don't know if a short sleeper can live longer by extending their sleep, and we don't know if a long sleeper can live longer by setting the alarm clock a bit earlier. We're hoping to organize tests of those questions.

One of the reasons I like to publicize these facts is that I think we can prevent a lot of insomnia and distress just by telling people that short sleep is OK. We've all been told you ought to sleep eight hours, but there was never any evidence. A very common problem we see at sleep clinics is people who spend too long in bed. They think they should sleep eight hours or nine hours, so they spend eight or nine hours in bed, with the result that they have trouble falling asleep and they wake up a lot during the night. Oddly enough, a lot of the problem [of insomnia] is lying in bed awake worrying about it. There have been many controlled studies in the United States, Great Britain and other parts of Europe that show that an insomnia treatment that involves getting out of bed when you're not sleepy, and restricting your time in bed, actually helps people to sleep more. They get over their fear of the bed. They get over the worry, and they become confident that when they go to bed they will sleep. So spending less time in bed actually makes sleep better. With the series tied 1-1 in the best of 3, game 3 was all set yesterday. In a hurry, after work I rushed to make it to the game that is scheduled at 5:30pm. I came just before the game started, I was lucky it was 5:40 then. Before the game I told the team that defense will win this game and so, that was our game plan. 1st half went good, defense was there and so as the oppenent, focusing their defense to francis and me and it was the time that charlie and others shined. Charlie was so lucky I think he only had misssed 1 attempt out of 8 field goals. he was then the leading scorer of the half and managed his fouls commiting only 1 foul. Prior to this game charlie is averaging 4 fouls per game and got fouled out, 3 out of our 7 games played. He really did good and also Ram2x who played like big ben, having 3 blocks and tons of rebound in the 1st half. After 1, we only had a 7 point lead. At halftime I told the team that no one will look at the scoreboard and must continue to push and focus in defense. At 2nd half the opponent made adjustment as they gone from zone defense to man to man. They pressed and pressured us but it didn't work as the team played the best game of our life. Patience, tight defense, finding open team mates as francis and I enjoyed every minute of this half with less responsibilty in the offensive end. All the players of the team scored and really played an inspired game. And at 5 minutes left in the game we already had a 16 point lead and we never looked back, the opponent was restless as they watched their team lose this game. It was so disappointing on their part as they won the first game of this series only to find out that we would beat them twice in a row. But as the nba say's, there can only be one. hAHaha! This series belongs to us and the most important is we advanced to the finals. Championship game is scheduled on the day of fiesta, June 13, 2008.

The Final 4!

Just my second stint in 5 games played, smallville team has a win-loss record of 3-1. The winner of this game would advance to the final four. With the 3 games I was not able to play, Francis has done a good job on carrying the team with a 2-1 record less me. The game was scheduled saturday in what could have been our final game if we lost, a do or die game that gives a lot of pressure to us. They told me that they already defeated this opponent on their second game but they won only by a point so we set up our mind that this team can compete hard and would probably give their very best to take revenge. A game plan was set by the team to defend well and francis would be our decoy. Then the game started, First half went really bad, a lot of turnovers committed by both teams and I was really struggling from the floor and got in to foul trouble committing 3 fouls with still 3 minutes left in the 1st half, I was forced to sit down and its a good thing francis barely dominate the first half as the other team had no answer on defending him. After the first half we only had a one point lead. Then at halftime a technical difficulties occured as the lights went out and after a few minutes it was back. Then the second half resumed. The opponent made a defense tactics by putting two defenders on francis even without the ball on his hands yet, and I thought this was our game plan. Francis the decoy and so, this free up the game for the team and me. I had openings, shooting relentleslly from the floor and made clutch baskets down the stretch, our guards had a few fastbreaks plays but the defenders assigned to francis was somehow ineffective as francis ignored and get pass through people in front of him and the team is attempting to breakaway and suddenly francis got in of foul trouble committing 3 straight fouls plus one on the first half! Now were in great danger as we had only had a 2 point lead at that time with 5 minutes left on the game, only one foul for him to say goodbye and we took a timeout and regrouped, And I told our guards if you let theirs penetrators just pass through them, we in the paint defending would forced to react and defend them and possibly taking unforced fouls that would take francis out and me having 3 fouls would take the risk. Back in the court, our guards responded well as they defended the perimeter well and created turnovers on the opponent, then the rest was history as the 5 minutes left in the game was dominated by our team and luckily we managed our fouls. We won by at least 10pts and most importantly secured a spot in the final four. Francis for MVP! Those were the spectators is yelling at after the game and as of me, a championship trophy matters most. Final four is set today and we are very excited.

The Encountering God Weekend, Held at Hope Mountain Catalunan Pequenio, Davao City. No idea of what would happen after the event, I just considered it as an ordinary summer getaway. Little did I know, this would turn out to be the moment of awakening and realization for me. We had already an orientation of this event conducted by Pastora Ruth Cubos at madayaw inn at Boulevard. And so she told us to expect the unexpected and be prepared to encounter our god. It was somehow odd but honestly I believed on what she told us. We must be serious and if we are really ready to change our life and surrender all to god, everything that she said would be possible so I had my mind set for that. The risk of taking my first absent in work for this event was a hard decision but I took it anyway. Well, it was worth it! It was a 3 day event that started thursday afternoon until saturday. And then came the 1st day, my mom told me that they would fetch me after work along with the other participants. It was raining so hard and clouds were covered by darkness but I told to myself, no storm ain’t stopping me to attend the said event.

The first day went well, I was a bit excited for some other reason's hehe, there's this one cute girl that really captures my attention every time she's around but this has nothing to do with the event, she somehow helped in taking out the pressure in me. Now let's get started. First Topic was the importance of the cross where Jesus died. The passion of the christ were shown and the participants were screaming and crying while watching Jesus suffer. It was so violent, although I watched it many times, there was still a drop of tear from my eyes. I just can’t take it. After the movie Pastor Dodong Cubos elaborated and explained why Jesus suffered and died in the cross. It was so detailed that the knowledge I knew before was somewhat just a small part of what really is the truth. Suddenly I felt guilt and hated myself, Jesus died for me, for you, for us. The price he paid for our sins is enough to recognize him as our only saviour, our only messiah. It lasted for about 3 hours and finally dinner was served before we went to sleep.

Second day was more interesting. “The Deliverance”. The main point of this event and one of the building blocks of rejuvenation of personality. Suddenly I felt nervous thinking that this would just pass by and just jive on what pastor told us, and how would it appear when that moment comes. A lot of question popped on my mind and I felt pressure. It was so different. As times gets near the pressure gets worst, It was a good thing that we’ve done a few more activities before this thing come. We had this lunch and I just thought It was the best lunch I had, a participant who happened to be a prospect of mine there incidently joined us at our table and the cute girl that I'd mention in the first day also was there and you know what, she's my mom’s coleague’ s on their church. We were introduced and surprisingly she said something to me that I will never forget, yeah It was a compliment hehe but then I was speechless, I didn’t even had the chance to say thank you for that, I was so shocked I dropped my spoon into the floor. Hahhaha! Somehow It relaxes me, It really helped. Now, lets go back to the main event hehe. After several hours, the pressure clicked in as time gets very very near. It was almost dark when It actually started, first, the confessions…They told us to remember all the people we hurt and the people who hurt us, we had to release our pride and learn to forgive and forget all. It was hard, shouting, crying out loud and even screamed! I felt things I could never imagined. Then came the demon casting hahha I also laughed when i heard this, “Kala ko ung mga nasasapian lang ang napapasukan ng demons, hindi pala!” An average of 2,000 bad spirits or demons is present in one’s body. Depending on how the human treat his/her life. Amazing huh? Well, believe it. Now the big question is HOW?, Pastor told us if we are willing and prepared, this is possible. I made up my mind quickly that I’m going for this. And he told us to shout the loudest we can, vommit if possible. It was the strangest of all and scary but fortunately, everyone pass through this. Its more real if you will have the chance to attend this event. I never felt very fine before this. I think I had lost weight and felt so refreshed! Wow! What a day! At 8 we had finished everything and ate our dinner, well she's not around anymore hehe she's on the other table.I thought you would asked. Second day is over.

Its Saturday. The last day and I had a well rested sleep. First thing I did when I woke up..pray.. thinking that will everything be the same again after yesterday, doe's it really helped me but one things for sure, I was really awakened of the real things around me. Questions that yet to be answered that only me can only answer. The last part of this event is "The Impartation". Well the only thing I can say is, UNBELIEVABLE! Never thought I would laughed this out before when I watch this kind of things and now, watching my own self being part of this.
