MVP - Lebron James
After just 5 seasons in the NBA the king receives his first ever MVP award after leading the cavaliers to a record best 66-16. Kobe and wade were 2nd and 3rd in the race.
Defensive Player of the Year - Dwight Howard
One of the youngest yet the most dominating player in the NBA, superman claims what he is made of. Defense! Averaging almost 14 boards a game and NBA best 4 blocked shots a game.
Most Improved Player - Danny Granger
The surprising rise of this player has never been predicted but in this season he made a name of himself earning his first All star appearance and finishing 6th in scoring with 25 a game.
Coach of the year - Mike Brown
The facilitator of the cavaliers deserves the MVP of the sidelines.
Sixth Man of the year - Jason Terry
With Ginobili struggling in the season, this is a no brainer to choose who will win this award. The Jet has always been consistent coming off the bench and producing instantly plus his clutch plays in crunch time wraps this award for him.
Rookie of the year - Derrick Rose
Nicknamed the "little lebron", this 1st overall pick from memphis was really the most explosive player in the draft. Leading the chicago bulls to a 7th place east playoff bound and giving the celtics a hard fought 1st rounder, this kid really proved that he is going to be one of the Stars in the league. With the best playoff rookie debut ever in the NBA, scoring 36points and leading the bulls to an upset win over the celtics in game 1 of their 1st round match up. The future is here.
