NBA = Euroleague, Dollars < Euro

NBA is the greatest basketball league in the world, every boy that plays basketball always dreams to get there, either you'll be drafted or un drafted, players will have a chance to play here. Its going to be an honor for you and the place where you came from.It means you had achieve the level of being the best. Josh Childress, the 6th pick overall by the Atlanta Hawks in 2004. A top prospect to be an superstar caliber in the NBA with the 6'8 210lb frame and only 25 years old. Spent 4 seasons with the hawks organization that clinched a playoff spot last season since 1999. Childress was one of the big factors that gave the Celtics a hard time in the 1st round series that last for 7games. It was an effort that every coach in the NBA coach would not regret. They played theirs butts out there and gave their very best but the Celtics where too much for the hawks that they easily won the decisive game, domination was the word. This was the last season of Childress that made him a restricted free agent, meaning other teams can offer contracts but the Hawks can match the offer if they want to keep Childress. Unfortunately, no teams had contact the Hawks for Childress so they offered him a qualifying contract worth 3.5m per season for 3yrs but Childress rejected the offer as his agent said that its not worth it. Then came the rumors that his agent was contact by the other team, not an NBA team but from the Euroleague and offered a wapping contract worth 32m for 3 years, 2 days gone childress accepted the offer and fly right away to athens to sign the contract. It has heard many speculations that Europe can now be a option for NBA players that has cheap contracts. Childress is not the first NBA player to be dealth to Europe. A few others had already signed contracts there but this players were commonly drafted in the NBA but hasn't had a chance to sign on their NBA club and others were offered cheap contracts and decide to play or stay in Europe because because they would earn more money playing in Euroleague. This has drawn more attention to NBA fans like me that has great respect and believe NBA is the best place to play basketball. So before you get all bent out of shape about who, where, when and why players are changing countries so fast your head is spinning, understand that this is just the beginning. Soon enough — perhaps it's already here — these real problems with shrinking revenue will change the financial face of the NBA. If you were this players, you would also choose whats right for you and depending on how you badly dreamed to be NBA player. Money matters specially nowadays, afterall NBA is still the best place to be.
